Last night, C-Crete Technologies won the annual MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition and $100,000 in start-up capital. The start-up has developed a method for producing a nanoengineered cement designed to be both stronger than traditional cement — and with a lower carbon footprint.
“We believe our technology will make a significant impact on the world, and we look forward to growing a viable, sustainable business to meet these ends,” C-Crete Technologies cofounder Natanel Barookhian, an MIT Sloan School MBA, said in a news release.
