About the Research

April 1, 2006

The main objective of this research (funded by a grant from the University of Missouri-St. Louis) was to identify the best, worst and emerging practices for offshore outsourcing of IT work. Personal interviews took place on company premises in the United States, Bangalore, Hyderabad or Mumbai; or at offshore outsourcing events. We have used pseudonyms to protect the identities of the study participants and their companies.
