Samuel Fromartz

Samuel Fromartz is a veteran business journalist who began his career at Reuters news agency, working as a correspondent in Washington and as Deputy Business Editor in New York. Since he left Reuters in the late 1990s, his freelance articles have appeared in Inc., Business Week, Fast Company, The New York Times, and many other publications. He is also the author of Organic, Inc: Natural Foods and How They Grew (Harcourt, 2006), which focused on the evolution of organic food and green consumption. He talks frequently on the topic, in the media and at conferences. A native of Brooklyn, Fromartz lives in Washington D.C. with his wife and daughter.
