MIT Sloan Management Review seeks an experienced editor to support the acquisition and development of feature articles that will help business executives lead innovative, sustainable, and thriving organizations that create value for their shareholders, customers, employees, and communities.

Sales Operations Coordinator

The Sales Operations Coordinator will support sales efforts and programs for MIT SMR’s sponsorship and advertising programs as well as the activities of the individual salespeople at MIT, including an independent contractor sales rep. They will assemble complex proposals, direct the development of sales marketing materials, often with very tight deadlines from agencies and other prospects, and manage all aspects of MIT SMR’s online ad server system.

Associate Director of Marketing

The Associate Director of Marketing will lead top-level marketing campaigns, including the email channel and lead generation for MIT SMR’s partners. They will develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, oversee the writing of promotional copy, plan A/B testing, and optimize campaign performance. They will lead all digital marketing and online advertising efforts while continuously analyzing marketing data and focusing resources on the areas that provide the best returns.

Assistant Art Director

MIT SMR’s assistant art director will bring our management concepts to life with compelling, clever, and contemporary visuals that support the growth and vision of the overall MIT SMR brand. Working with cross-functional teams, they will lead the design of visual materials for integrated, cross-channel initiatives – web, social, print, and multimedia – including managing daily editorial visual elements; developing guidelines, templates, art direction for freelancers and producers; and overseeing design excellence.

Customer Service Associate

The customer service associate will provide support to subscribers and content customers through phone, email, and web. Major responsibilities include answering daily customer service inquiries, resolving sometimes complex customer problems and ensuring customer satisfaction; providing personal and general office and administrative support (e.g., calendar management, travel, meeting preparations, etc.) to the publisher and editor-in-chief; and supporting all staff with administrative tasks.
